Better chances for girls
Assuming social responsibilities, as well as sustainable actions, are a constituent component of our business culture.
Therefore, we support via PLAN International girls and young women who are often more disadvantaged than boys by birth, as by the neglect in nutrition and medical care, with less access to education, due to
frequent exposure to physical and psychological violence, or by the abortion of female fetuses. Via the Girls fund, a variety of projects for girls are being financed. This includes, for example, the construction of a secondary school for girls in Bangladesh.
PLAN also engages in the fight against female genital mutilation, HIV/Aids and does lobbying work for children’s rights, especially the rights of girls.
